I obviously was quite wrong to take O'Brien seriously at the start, and think O'Brien was this time trying to be reasonable in the first place.... So determined is he to distort whatever I say.
This is my last response to this current set of distortions. Actually it will remain my last response to O'Brien. This is only O'Brien's latest attempt to break a stick on my back while painting a "semi"-campist label on me. "Semi" - since he sees I do not actually support Putin. But he has to somehow say therefore that "Hari makes that clear that Ukraine must surrender and accept Putin to rule, to avoid more pain." What brew is O'Brien on to claim that I say that? 1. On Ukraine, just two examples: - " Imperialist Danse Macabre over the Peoples of Ukraine" Originally at ‘ML Currents Today’; and at Berlin Left. As for the vague allegation - the language is a bit contorted - that we only point to Putin's attack on the people of the Russian state, this is quite incoherent. We have defended all peoples, including the Syrian people against both Putin and his local stooges.
