GZipping the file brought it down a few Kbytes in size. I did that
just to re-arrange the binary pattern. And, I have "asyncmap 0" set
somewhere in the options passed by diald to pppd. And, I've been on
this list too long not have my MTU/MRU set to 1500. I've been using
Linux masquerade for 2 1/2 years now, and have nearly a dozen similar
systems at client sites, and this is the first time I've run into
this situation.
(pause while I go look at the configuration......)
OK, I lied! I didn't have the asyncmap set. Too late tonight to
mess with; I'll modify it tomorrow and post any interesting results.
