Looking back, I really, really appreciate Chris for his *long*, hard job as a release manager. There were a lot of details to attend to and a lot going on for him. I do also appreciate Nils' willingness to volunteer his time for Matterhorn, and the work he's doing now to update the docs.
Look forward, I completely agree with Nils' suggestion to "find processes that get's more consensus in the community to get more support for a release." We don't want to repeat what happened for 1.2. So, how can we actively figure out what those *processes* are before we are again trying to get a release out the door? Is this a continued conversation on list? A meeting? It would be great to have input from all those of you that consider yourselves "Matterhorn users" as to how *you* would like to participate in the release process. Thoughts?
