I'm going to assume that the username and password are correct. Does the URL have the correct port? Does the device show up as a capture agent in the admin UI on the core? The agent does not send its logs to the core. You can view the ECD's logs from the device itself using the 'Device Logs' link on the left hand side of the GUI. Copy a snippet of the logs and send it to list and we'll be able to sort out your issue.
