With the addition of ACLs for series, creation of a new series during scheduling or upload got a little more complicated. In addition to the series dublincore document, the REST endpoint expects an ACL document. Right now, the scheduler and upload screen are submitting blank ACL documents. I am not sure what this does to the workflow. If the ACL is associated at the start of the workflow does this preclude an administrator from going back and changing the ACL after they have created the series during scheduling? The workflow has already started at that point.
I see a couple of options: 1. Don't let the user create series from a scheduler/upload page. 2. Add the ability to input ACL information. 3. Sane defaults. I'm leaning toward 3, because 1 sucks, and 2 is going to be a bit more work. The question I have about 3, is what are sane defaults?
