I did.
Then I used the test form.
Now I am just in the position, where I will have to browse all the code, and
figure out what actually capture agent supposed to do, because it looks like
sending a POST request is not enough.  I assume I have missed something really
simple. Somebody developing version 1.1. changed something - at it does not
works as it supposed to work - there must be a small bug somewhere.

I assume, you can't register the agent too? Right?

I will research it - but I was hoping it works with some other installation -
or maybe somebody will say that this is obvious - that I have missed this or
that...

Once I will succeed I will let you know.

Hi,
    I think it could be caused by some issue in the "test form" in the doc
page. As the  /agents/{name}/capabilities path contains the {name} parameter,
the test form may not construct the path properly.

Cheers,

Kenneth

Well... I investigated it a bit.

When demo capture agent is initialized from the bundle, or rest point is
called, then:

CaptureAgentStateRestService.java,

 public Response setCapabilities(@PathParam("name") String agentName,
InputStream reqBody) {

when Demo capture agent is calling it - reqBody contains the properties.

When I call this from my script or from

http://localhost:8080/capture-admin/docs

reqBody is empty.

---------

Error is / as a result of empty stream in "reqBody":

"unexpected end of input" - from  XML Parser ...

Does it works with any other Matterhorn installation?

Can somebody repeat it? Try registering capture agent via /capture-admin/docs
