Judy Stern commented on MH-6910:
--------------------------------
My $.02 here (Do you have an expression for "my 2 cents" in German and/or
Spanish?):
The disagreement appears to stem from a having very different visions of who
the "administrator" is and what reasonable expectations we can have of their
knowledge and willingness to dive into the guts of the application. (Yes,
similar to the discussion about "workflow".) This user story (even the summary)
does contain far more implementation detail than typical for a user story, but
I'm guessing that it does truly represent what some subset of (deeply immersed
in Matterhorn) administrators want to do. On the other hand, we have simpler
user stories such as MH-3286 (and others that you could probably write, Ruben)
that might represent something similar that less technical users want to do. I
don't actually believe that they are the same (or should be) because what the
different personas want to do is very different. It is long overdue for us to
figure out (agree) who our user(s) is/are, rather than continuing to have these
disagreements. (Sorry if I sound like a broken recor
d.)
> As an administrator, I want to see and manage (sort, order, search) all the

> In order to facilitate the allocation of metadata, the admin should have
> access to all the episode and series metadata files so they can be copied,
> enhanced and re-used. As most events are re-occuring, this should facilitate
> the admins work and make sure metadata are consistent over semesters etc.
