Since my idea to use my little NetBSD SE/30 as a print server for my LW 4/600 isn't going to work, I thought I would try to find a hardware bridge to buy. Anyone have experience with them to recommend one, or are they all equally good? I've found references to Dayna EtherPrint models EP0101 and EP0121 (Intel bought Dayna and doesn't make these anymore, right?) but don't really know if there's any difference, and Asante has their AsanteTalk. I'd expect hardware to "just work" but thought it prudent to ask before diving into unfamiliar territory. My network has BSD, Linux, Windows and Macs, and I need to be able to print from any/all of them. BSD and Linux shouldn't have to know anything about AppleTalk to print using a bridge, right? Communication protocols are a bit beyond my bailiwick. Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Tim
