Hello Ripin, the automatic extension is adding new data volumes, so the maximal allowed number data volumes (set through the parameter MAXDATADEVSPACES) is certainly limiting the automatic increase.

Hi, Recently I had asked the question about the automatic increase of the database size in 7.4.0.27 in case the db gets nearly full. The answer that I found was running the dbmcli with the config_set option to set the autoext flag to true. Does anyone know how much can the database extend automatically ? I mean does it extend till the entire disk fills up or there is a limit before that ? Thanks, -Ripin. -- MaxDB Discussion Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
