I was wondering if anyone else on the list has experienced any issues with MAXDB while running NTP to keep the time in sync.
We were running SAP DB last summer and experienced some strange issues while running NTP (missing records being one). Right now we are stopping the DB and updating the time manually (instead of running NTP). But I'd like to setup some sort of nightly update to sync up the time without having to shutdown the DB. Would that be possible or has anyone found it better to create a script that calls dbmcli?
