We used Monaco Film Labs ( 234 Ninth St. San Francisco, CA 94103 Phone: 
415/864-5350) for 22 16mm (10 min. reels with a BUNCH of splices) 2 years 
ago and have just sent them 20 more reels this past month.  I have no idea 
what the cost comparasion would be, but we have been very happy with their 
service.  ASK FOR: Scott Smerdon.  He was wonderful to work with!
