I own about 850 CDs. I own no pre-recorded MDs and do not plan to buy any.
I got into MD for recording compilations and for trading. I don't think MD
can compete as a pre-recorded format because CD is too entrenched.
If somebody would market MD in the US, it would gain some market share.
Nobody over here has ever heard of it. I got into it after someone in
Australia persuaded me to try it & now I'm hooked. I do not, outside of
acquaintances made on the net, almost all of them in Europe, Japan or
Australia, personally know anyone who has ever heard of Minidisc.
