This can lead to that whole debate again about which is better, coaxial or
optical. In the past I have read quite a few comments here and else where
on the net claiming that coaxial was better.

But I have been having direct contact with electronic and computer types
that feel basically they are the same, but for limited distances optical is
better then coaxial. One argument they gave was about the phone companies
going to fiber optics.

What do you think? All I know is that I just bought a DVD player (hasn't
been delivered yet) that plays MP3s. Unfortunately it has a coaxial
output, so I guess I may be one of those people interested in such a
converter.

Thanks,
Larry
