Hey, Michelle! rlhamil has pointed out an interesting possibility here. The DocBookWiki project seems to solve several of the problems here: it has a way to round-trip from XML <-> Wiki (automatically to/from a repository!), it has a couple of ways to edit (although the Wiki markup seems to be just as obsure as ever, +5 points for XML in this case), it supports multiple translations of a single document (a big plus), and it seems to be able to take care of various conversions (-->PDF, for example) in an automated way .
On the down side, it seems a little sluggish, and it's not nearly as polished as something like Confluence. Could you take a look at this one, and see what you think? Would it solve the problems you have been mentioning with Wikification? I don't see a direct link to the description of features, but if you go here, and select "Technical Books > DocBookWiki Guide" in the upper left corner, you should see the feature info: http://doc-book.sourceforge.net/books/ Mike This message posted from opensolaris.org
