There will be a new version of ConfigMgr, that much has already been disclosed on the ConfigMgr team blog. We did discuss items like this at TechEd Europe this week. We believe (and analysts like Gartner agree) that there is the need for choices in management, both on-prem and in the cloud. So we need both of them to continue. The ConfigMgr/Intune vision is one "single pain of glass" for administration, even using two different management "channels." MDT is not going away anytime soon although they didn't give any real details.
