Another equally OT question.  How, feasible would it be to get meego
or maemo installed on the Nexus One or any other device with a
fairly open architecture?

1. Unless Nexus One does some kind of Hardware checkup before it boots the
OS; it should be possible to install Meego on it; even without root access.
In this case one will swipe out Android completely

2. You can install vmware and then install Meego in it; I believe there are
notes abt installing vmware in Android.

Anyways, its better to get some hardware knowledge about Nexus One.
