I fully agree with you. This show that the current quality policy is to
only support Fedora based distribution. If this was not the case, then
we should find reliable instructions on how to build image with a Debian
based distribution.

The information is that with the actual build instructions I failed to
do a simple image creation in a Debian Lenny system.
Our policy was/is to support all the major distros. Nothing more,
nothing less.
Fine. I am sorry to say that my test failed.
We want people to be able to build MeeGo images on any current and
popular distro. Period. No exceptions.
Maybe in the next release ?
