I know the N900's partition size, I was talking about "real" storage
sizes here :)

And yes, btrfs may not make sense on the N900, that's up to the
developers of that image to decide.  But for the systems that I use and
support, btrfs works wonderfully on MeeGo (i.e. netbooks.)

And note, if the handheld devices do not use btrfs, some of the features
being provided here (snapshot rollback, etc.) will just not work, which
might not be good.
