Some things about the current UI are great, super simple and mostly works as expected but I find the current mutter netbook UI also very limiting when running multiple apps. There is no maximise/minimise or virtual desktops (that I can find). I've got some ideas but no history or experience with mutter/gnomelike and rpm based systems.
