Yes, it stays running. I also can use xprop to read out the properties
of the black window and it confirms that it´s the actual application.
2) are you running the application inside Xephyr ?
Yes.
2.1) do you have composite extension enabled in Xephyr ?
Not sure about that. But meego-home, meegophoto, fennec, etc. are
running fine, including smooth animations like background bluring. So
probably that mean that the composite extension is enabled. How can I
confirm it?
3) do you have gconf& dbus running and session dbus environment
variable exported ?
I´ll check this after work. But as all stock applications are running
(even if I start them from the command line), the answer is probably yes.
4) export M_DECORATOR=0 before launching application ..
I´ll give that a try in the evening.
