nobody is hiding what goes into config-generic, and additions get put at
the end...
so why don't you do your review based on what is there, rather than
blocking progress instead?

and yes if you add a patch to the arm section of the kernel that adds a
config option, I expect you to update config-generic as well.
I know you've not done that consistently so far, and so far I've usually
fixed up after you....

Before the flame war begins, I'd rather advocate that config-generic is kept as small as possible and then platform-specific configs are handled separately.

Clearly the current process is not making people happy.
