Hi,

Thanks for you suggestion, but it could not work for my situation. My graphic
card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650, and I try the open source driver which
Fedora 13 OS provided, but I could not launch mutter any more, the output of
the command line is:

failed to create drawable
Window Manager error: Unable to initializer Clutter.

But I could run glxgears and get the 3 missed GLX extension while using ATI
closed driver by glxinfo.
*GLX_MESA_copy_sub_buffer
*GLX_OML_sync_control
*GLX_INTEL_swap_event

I saw that some said that the HD5000 series is supported until next year by the
open source driver, is it true? So now I used the closed driver but get the
previous issue that it will become very slow while entering Moblin/Meego
desktop.

I still want to get the answers of:
1) What's the functions of those 3 extensions?
2) If they are missed, which part will be affected, any relation with the issue
I met on the ATI graphics card?
3) Any clues for this issue.

Thanks all of you.

You mean the closed proprietary driver, right?

I've never had any problems with the open one.
