I just got a couple of spiggot bushes for the L18 ($5 from Repco as opposed to $17 from Nissan). Does any body have any tips on installing these suckers. I have been using a old input shaft but the bloody things are always going crooked and because they are made of brass, bend really easy. I have also soaked them in oil as per the prescribed method as they are porous. Same deal. They seem to be a little bigger than the actual hole in the crank. I am going to try putting one in the freezer for a few days and hopefully that will shrink it enough to fit in.
Any ideas/tips greatly appreciated.
