Hey Dave
throw out the  twin point dizzy away and get an electronic they make heaps of difference
better idle, smother advance curve means more  smother power and less maintenance, better top end power, will enable your engine to rev harder without point bounce or braking down.  a very good investment I run them in both my datsuns ,1600 street car and Stanza rally car.
i would never go back to points
any way that my opinion

Just pickerd up the Series II dizzy for the L18 with matching coil.  One question relates to the wiring.  There are 3 wires coing out of the unit of which 2 are connected by a single connector.  I am pretty sure this goes to negative side of the coil.  The other wire has a single crimp connector.  Does anyone know where this wire connects to?

Cheers
Michael Foreshew

Gday Michael, there should be a 1 pink wire , and 1 green wire coming from the dizzy, I'm pretty sure the pink wire goes to the positive side of the coil and the green one goes to the neg. I think theres a third wire that goes to where you're old dizzy was connected. I've got one of these one my L20 if you have any q's let us know.

James.
