Hop in your car start it up and drive ,get upto 30mph then drop it in
second and floor it and change gear when it stops pulling,that is your
red line.
I hope your rev counter goes to 10,000?
If you read your 510 handbook in the glove box about the rev counter you
will see they don't have a red line(like a old ford has)
sort of quote from the hand book from memory,
"recomended driving zone is in the yellow and if you go into the red be
a ware and alertness in needed".
Hence no "don't go in the red" like a cortina or escort
The nissan book says nothing about where she blows and I have never
blown one yet,I tell a lie I drained the oil out and drove it hard for
two weeks before it siezed soild.
