The cost is a bit scary when you add it all up and likewise i'm taking my time with the ol' white car, i was a bit apprehensive to do it that way as this was not the intention to shock or discourage anyone, only I was asked directly and it is a bit of a misconception that you just throw a turbo in a 510 on Saturday and your lapping on Sunday.
I keep thinking of other things to add to the "Optional" list after I posted. real seat belts, clutch upgrades, turbo flowing.... it goes on.
