Malcom,
I believe the W suffix refers to the cylinder wall thickness (ie thicker
cylinder wall casting to prevent bore flex) this block was mainly used in
industrial/commercial engines or the 610SSS performance engines where
higher cylinder pressures were likely. If I were U I would grab them as the
potential for Z22 cranked strokers would be enormous.
