One major 510 rust problem most people dont see in under the hood lining
on the inside of the roof piller's.

Also if you weld in a patch you carn't clean up the unside so yes they
rust from the inside out.
Never use gas to weld as the flux has a acid in it
If you have ever taken the stills off a 510 you will know that the rust
under neath can be quite bad and its not seen till the sills are off.

as for getting paint off,use a 3M paint and rust stripper disc,they do
cost heaps each but is very much worth it.
Why use paint stripper then you have to wash it with water(what a waste
of time)if anything use thinners to wash not water like it says on the
bottle.
