I found that they're not terribly consistent. Two x-members which have identical
control arm pickup points measured from the bottom edge of the x-member *may
not* be the same once installed in your car. I had to measure the pickup points
relative to the flange where the x-member attaches to the chassis to be sure.

Whether this is manufacturing tolerance or accident damage or just the car's
been jacked up by the x-member I don't know.
