I read the other day that the SR20 found in the new S 15 Silvia's is the most powerful
variant of the SR family to date (more than the Gtir @ 172kw) - another article
claimed a stock S15 should come real close to high13's....

I doubt they'd put a weaker 'box behind the later, presumably more
powerful SR20DET,
but that's just a guess.

To visualise bumpsteer, think of just one front wheel moving up and down
while
the car's at rest. Ideally ( and in a stocker ) the wheel moves up and
down,
but always points in the straight-ahead position. That is, there is no
change
in the steering angle as the wheel moves up and down.
When you lower the car, you change all the angles the suspension pieces
meet
at and the way they sit at rest. Unless you make changes to deliberately
correct
bumpsteer you'll find the wheel no longer points straight-ahead as it
goes up
and down, but actually 'steers' during a bump - hence "bumpsteer". It
feels
like you have to 'fight' the car through rough turns.

If you're interested in how to correct it, email me offlist, as
everyone's probably
bored with my rantings on the subject by now :)
