Hey all,
the Datto has developed a nasty vibration that feels to be coming from the
rear of the car. It starts up at around 40kmh and seems to be speed
related, not RPM related, ie doing 80kmh, vibration is the same whether in
3rd/4th/5th gear. The vibration stops if the forces on the drivetrain are
reversed, (wheels driving engine) like when coasting down a hill with foot
off accelerator. As soon I use the accelerator again, the vibration starts
right back up where it left off. Its also just as bad if I coast down a
hill in neutral. I had a look under the car and found the nuts in the
gearbox crossmember were coming loose so I tightened them, but its made no
difference to the vibration. Wondering if any one can tell me what problem
causes these symptoms? Thanks,
