Albs,
I get clutch plates made up using a combination of organic and ceramic
pucks for high power outputs on street use vehicles. The organic material
reduces the harshness of the ceramic pucks allowing some early slip but as
the load is applied by the pressure plate face the ceramic pucks really
bite!.
Cheers
Feral Errol

Has any one on the list had any experiences or fitted up a 9 inch cluch up
to there l serires motor before and what parts are required. The reason is
that the old pressure plate (8'') is cooked and is the heavist of it's type
(Pro competion type) so the only way to get more grip is either a brass
button (no give) or a bigger version of the conventional cluch plate.(alot
smoother which is good for street) cause i can't get anymore clamping
pressure than i have already ( I would assume)
