Steve,
The trick is to hit both sides of the joint at the same time with heavy
hammers to momentarily deform the taper. They usually pop out moderately
easily then.

This suggestion may or not be appropriate depending on whether the rubber
are nuked or not but a little heat does miraculous things when something is
stuck in tightly.

Hi all,
I think ive finallt found the one job i never want to do again on a
datto! Does anyone have any clues on how the f#*k your meant to remove
tie rod ends from the front end of a 510?? Hours of belting with a large
hammer, smashed fingers and broken tie rod end removers have left me
very pissed and with a garage bound datto, any ideas would be
appreciated!
