Hey,
Im still having an absolute asshole of a time with these tie rod ends! Ive
resorted now to trying to get the steering arm (not sure on the technical
term)
that joins the bottom of the steering box to the drag link off, but still
no
good. Large hammers, gear pullers and heat dont seem to have any effect! So
my
next idea is to drop the entire steering box (needs a rebuild anyway) and
steering assembly as one unit then remove the ends hopefully a little more
easily with them out from under the car. My question being is removing the
steering box as simple (yeah right) as undoing the 3 bolts that hold it to
the
body and the uni joint that connects it to the steering shaft???? I hope u
can
understand what im talking about!
