Me neither. They have been quite good to me so far..
Good news everybody.. I hooked up the starter motor and turned the key....
Yaay... The pistons move, the starter motor works...
Now I gotta figure the wiring loom.. :)

Geordie,
I take it you didn't buy the engine from them as they do treat their
customers pretty well. I've got no complaints.

Yes, they were cut, ripped, chomped, stuffed... Total butchery....
I guess they figured that some hoon would buy the engine, so they didn't
take too much attention to the accessories...
SSS were assholes when I called them... And the last time I called them, and
the time before.... Maybe they are sick of having their brains picked for
info... Maybe there's nothing to pick at??? I dunno...
Perhaps I need to talk to somebody who sells intercoolers & pipes and knows
what they're on about...

Geordie,
If there is an SR model that's not intercooled you would pick up the genuine
bits from importers. SSS Automotive has heaps of bits in shelves and boxes
so they should have something to fit. I take it the pipes off your engine
were damaged.

In a very nut shell... The SR has a cross-flow head.. Inlet on Driver's
side, turbo on the other side... Turbo needs to be plumbd across the front
of the motor with a 3-4 inch diameter rubber hose shaped kinda like this..

Nissan said "Re-mortgage your house and I think we'll be able to get
something in from Japan!!!"

You will have a good chance of getting the genuine parts from most Nissan
importers. You can get also get them made up at turbo exhaust places but i
would think this to be the expensive way although if you are plumbing an
intercooler you could be best in the long run going the fabricated way.
If you ask the list for good local places and let us know where you are i'm
sure you'll get some good advice on either method.
I'm not familiar with the querks of the SR so i'm just about done for
specific
ideas.
