I have had a squiz at that TR7V8 and it is not a bad job at all.  I have
played with them for years, and they are the best power to weight ratio
grunter you can get.  The factory rally cars that Tony Pond drove had a 5.0
litre (ranged from 4.4litre to 5 litre depending on the teams mood) Leyland
motor with swan neck manifold and four 50mm side draft Webers.  It also ran
a Jag rear end.  The only car I have ever seen maintain a four wheel drift
from dirt to bitumen in a competitive stage!!!  My last one that I have
since sold had throttle body injection and the Jag arse end, and I reckon
they are the best machine to play with next to Datsuns.
