hy no point?
A surge tank is meant to compensate for low fuel in corners.etc
So mounting it in the boot or under the car shouldn't matter as in essence
it is another fuel tank.
The pre-pump is meant to fill the surge tank then the EFI pumps to the fuel
rail.
If you started with an EFI car you would not need a surge tank as there
would be one in the tank already.
Which leads me to the "performance" mags you can get these days. Why do
people with modified EFI (originally) cars put surge tanks when they are not
req'd?
Show value perhaps?

Iggy
Can anyone enlighten?

Yeah, but the pre-pump takes the fuel to the engine bay where I need it, and
the EFI pump pushes it through the fuel rail to the injectors.

No point putting it in the boot... Well, not for me anyway......
