Wasn't Wardy that let you off was it? 128mph is pretty good for an L18 on SU's;
i can only get 120mph out of mine on the flat with webers, but i spose it's
good for a few more mph down a mineshaft. This car seems to slow down the rate
of acceleration dramatically around 100mph and check with me that "are you
sure you want to go faster?".

The quickest i've been was in a datto (sort of) was 260 kph in a Gibson Skyline
R31 GTS and that's bloody quick in a 2 lane 100 zone. This thing was a
basically a race car that was registered, bilsteins the lot, the only thing
that was dodgey was the alarm system, it used to not want to play sometimes
without warning. I wanted to buy this car but i missed out. He got 25K trade in
on a Supra MA71? with the 7MGTE engine which was quicker again but i didn't get
a drive as he's gone to far nth qld. Cairns.
