there should be a start signal that goes into the computer via a )gy) wire.
this wire when power is supplied to it enriches the mix for cranking and
cold start, you may not have it connected.
this is the case for the rb series engines and many nissans are identical
(eg the z32 vg30 uses the same comp as the rb)
we had the same prob till we did this and it was the prob
