Pretty similar setup to mine. Mine is OK on the street, Low to mid corner
speeds, but at race speeds thats a different story. Car is an understeerer.

Subject: Handling Question

510's,

There seems to be some differences of opinion from
recent posts regarding rear sway bars.

Before I go out and purchase a rear sway bar I need to
determine if it is a worthwhile proposition. My
current set up is:

Whiteline 22mm fully adjustable sway bar on the front,
Lovell lowered springs front and rear (45mm for both
... I think from memory), 240K struts, gas shocks all
round (non adjustable) 15" rims (to clear the
calipers), adjustable castor rods, 71 front X/Member
(mid range lower control arm pivot points). Bump steer
doesn't look like it will be a problem as the angles
look OK.

My thoughts were to go for a 18mm adjustable rear bar,
to keep the car balanced. Any thoughts ?????

Car is still in the construction stage so I can't test
drive it ... just yet !!

Cheers

Bruce
