The SR20 sits on a series 3 BB engine xmember. The series 1 & 2 have the
mounting strut thingys too high and too far apart. They are made for L
series engines.

There was plenty of room in there, but then I installed the radiator... :)
I've got about 10-15cm clearance between the pulleys and the radiator, take
away half of that for a thermofan and there ain't much room!! I would stick
to 4 bangers instead of 6. The RB is a straight 6, so you'd have to chop up
the firewall and then have to deal with engineers and what a nightmare!! :)
I'd stick the rb in a berlina or something and badge it a commodore and sell
it to some sucker, and use the money to go buy a SR20.. :)
