How much does it cost these days - it was so exy for a 45 - 55 amp Bosch to
be re-wired in the 70/80's. There was an AC Delco import alternator (Chevy?)
that was popular with the dirt boys as it would pump out ~90amp all day and
more importantly all night and they were very well priced. I saw one at a
u-pull in Sydney last time down that some one was in the process of buying.

you can get a 60 amp alternator DELTA wired which = almost 3 times 60 amps.
