No there was definitely about 100mm missing from the length between the hole in the crossmemeber and the spare wheel well. And I have the hammer marks to prove it. The car was up on axle stands with the shocks and springs taken out so there was plenty of room. I think it might have been rear ended and only been partially fixed. Is the spare wheel well supposed to be hard up against the crossways chassis rail?
