Pele, they have those RBTs with the aim of catching people and making
money - so they do just that. Not much you can do about that. If you are
pulled over by a single (or pair) cop on the job you have a much better
chance of being let off.
Basically you are meant to have your licence on you while you drive (it's
the law) and you didn't - so you got fined! $60 ain't much. Perhaps next
time you should leave your licence in the glovebox or something.
You can't get out of fines unfortunately :( they are the law. You can write
to them and ask them to exercise their discretion but that only really works
on parking tickets!
