Lucas, Girling, Quinton Hazel, Power Train, Unipart and other such
manufacturers of brit car parts give plenty to whinge about here but I don't
buy 'em any more so I don't mind :-) . I had a Jetta and a Golf and both had
electrical problems all the time I had them (did Bosch make VW fuse boxes?
curse them if they did). My old Austin A40 caught fire due to dodgy
Electrics (thanks to Lucas)
There were virtually no non-genuine parts made here for Dattos especially
510s but that does mean that almost everything I replace get replaced with
genuine Nissan parts (when available otherwise it's time to fit things off
other makes) It's ironic that I can get some cool works parts yet I need a
pair of new stock engine mounts and I can't get them.
TR8,huh? I used to work on those... did you get TR7 Sprints there? I liked
those (as long as I didn't have to work on it.)
