When I disconnected the power to my dash I was told to reconnect pin 7
(yellow) as it is the power for the fuel gauge. I did this, to
12-14.4V, and it is definitely somehow connected to the fuel gauge but the
gauge always reads 3/4 full doesn't matter how much fuel there is. Is this
supposed to be a 5V supply line or is it an Earth wire? Or is my gauge
stuffed.
