I'm currently also putting a gazelle (S-110) disc rear axle into my 1200
coupe and have found that 180b tailshaft is the right flange pattern.
I'm worried that the 180b (and all of the indepandent rear) tailshafts may
not have enough wall thickness, ...... it was never designed to be used
with a 'moving' live rear axle. (maybe UJs cant cope with angles) can
anyone shed any light on the subject.?
Thanks
Rhys Hunter.

Nick.
I used a 180B manual tailshaft. The gazelle rear with an alloy carrier H190
(X J1500) weighs 58.5 kg and the stock H 165 weighs 59 kg!
Not bad huh!
Cheers

Errol,
I have just gone to do the final installation of the modified H190 Gazelle
axle into my Stanza and have struck a snag!
The tailshaft is too long. it won't bolt up even when the axle is at full
droop.
I therefore require a ~10mm (?) shorter tailshaft.
What did you use when you put the Gazelle axle into a Sunny (Sunny is same
mechanically as Stanza ?)
Which tailshaft should I use, Sunny or 180b are top of my list at the
moment.
Looks like public transport again this week :o
Thanks in advance
Nick
