Is that a new oil from Castrol. I have used Redline in Nissan boxes for 20
years, very exy stuff but no clashing either.

I used castrol VMX80 for my Fj gearbox as it was clashing a bit into second.
Since changing the oil the clashing has stopped, it's the only thing I've
done to the gearbox and can't attribute the cease in clashing to anything
else.... give it a go.
