Andrew,
I have some L14's here that I have been going to put together for a while. I
think the 66mm stroke with an 87mm bore should be very interesting with a
good turbo on it.

Cheers

Brad,
Square bores are probably good for rallying as they make flat power and with
a
close ratio box would just grunt away all day.I actually prefer the
oversquare
feel in a street car.My L20 feels a little peakier now with the larger turbo
but
still nothing like my old fj20.A mate used to own a sr20det silvia with 300
rwhp
and raved about it until he took my fj20 for a drive and couldn't believe
the
different way they made power. He always thought a 2 litre was a 2 litre and
that
the sr20det was just an updated fj20.I raced bikes for a while and my
favourite
was an old kawasaki 550 bored to 680 with factory race internals. This thing
reved to 18000rpm.The factory used to cut there's at 21000.I then switched
to
the v4 hondas which were fast but felt flat.Boring even.Just my opinion.
