Actually my info is that the body was entirely an in-house job, the Japanese
designer is known. The engine is unlike any Merc motor I have seen although
some similarities in general layout and ancillaries positioning. It does
look quite a bit like the Prince 6's in fact these motors are beautiful in
detail design.
